I’m Erik, creator of ActivityWatch (18k+ stars) and gptme (4k+ stars), founding team at Lovable, MSc from LTH.

I take on a small number of consulting engagements alongside my open-source work. 💼

• Developer tooling: CLIs, editor/IDE integrations, developer experience, CI/CD.
• Full-stack engineering: from prototype to production, Python/TypeScript/Rust.
• ML & data: data pipelines, analysis, applied machine learning.

How I work

• Project engagements: short-to-medium projects, weeks to a few months.
• Advisory retainers: ongoing access for questions, reviews, and direction.
• On-site stints: occasional weeks-long on-site visits; otherwise remote-first.

Terms

Engagements are B2B through Superuser Labs Lund AB (org.nr 559388-1773), a VAT-registered Swedish AB. Remote-first, invoiced from Sweden (SEPA). Rates are discussed per engagement.

Past clients include Strawberry Browser, Pale Blue Dot, Ghent University, and Lovable.

History: the old jobs page (2021–2024)

This page used to be an experiment in paying people for contributions to my open-source projects, with compensation by time spent (tracked with ActivityWatch, of course) at €40–100/h. Jobs spanned ActivityWatch (sync, aw-leaderboard, marketing), uniswap-python, quantifiedme, chatalysis, and projects related to my MSc thesis.
